Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hunter’s Hotel website.

By accessing our website, making a room reservation, booking a table at our restaurant, or purchasing a gift voucher, you accept and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Bookings and Guarantees

Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to book an overnight stay.

Contract Formation: A booking is only confirmed when we issue a confirmation via email.

Card Guarantee: All room and reservations require a valid credit or debit card to secure the booking.

Rate Validity: Rates shown on our website are subject to change untilcompleted.

2. Payment and Billing

Standard Rates: Payment for accommodation etc. is due upon checkout.

Advance Purchase Rates: Discounted or promotional rates are charged in full at booking and are strictly non-refundable.

Local Taxes: All prices displayed include VAT at the current rate.

Incidentals: We may require a card pre-authorisation at check-in to cover restaurant charges, bar tabs, or room service.

3. Online Gift Voucher Sales

Delivery: Vouchers purchased online are delivered instantly via email as an e-voucher..

Validity Period: Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. Expired vouchers cannot be extended or reactivated.

Non-Refundable: Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or used to purchase other gift vouchers.

Redemption: Vouchers must be presented at checkout or dining arrival. Booking in advance is mandatory, and reservations are subject to standard availability.

Change Policy: If the total spend is less than the voucher value, the remaining balance will stay on the voucher. No cash change will be given.

Loss or Theft: The hotel is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers, or the unauthorised use of unique voucher codes.

4. Room Cancellation and No-Show Policies

Cancellation Window: Free room cancellation is available up to 48 hours prior to 3:00 pm on your scheduled arrival date.

Late Cancellations: Room cancellations made within this 48-hourwindow incur a charge equal to the first night's stay.

Voucher Bookings: If a booking secured by a gift voucher is cancelled late or results in a no-show, the value of the first night's stay will be deducted from the voucher balance.

5. On-Site Dining & Restaurant Policies

Table Reservations: We highly recommend booking dining times in advance to guarantee availability.

Dining Cancellations: For tables of 6 or moreguests, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Late Cancellation / No-Show Fees: We reserve the right to charge a fee of €50 per person to the card on file for late dining cancellations or failure to show up.

Dietary Requirements: Please notify our kitchen team of any severe food allergies or dietary restrictions at least 24 hours before dining.

6. Children and Family Policies

Families Welcome: Children of all ages are welcome at our hotel.

Cots and Extra Beds: Travel cots and rollaway beds are subject to availability and must be requested before arrival. Extra charges of may apply.

Supervision: Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times in public areas, hallways, and outdoor grounds.

Restaurant Dining: High chairs are available upon request. We kindly ask parents to ensure children remain seated during meal service to maintain a safe environment for our waiting staff.

7. Arrival and Departure

Check-In: Rooms are available for check in from 3:00 pm onwards.

Check-Out: Departure is required by 12:00 am.

Late Check-Out: Late departures must be agreed in advance, depend on availability, and may incur an extra hourly fee.

8. Country House Policies & Guest Conduct

Strict Non-Smoking: All interior areas, bedrooms, and dining spaces are 100% smoke and vape-free. A deep-cleaning fee of €150applies to violations.

Damages and Loss: Guests are fully liable for any damage caused to the room, restaurant furnishings, antique decor, or estate property.

Quiet Hours: To preserve our peaceful countryside setting, quiet hours are active from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to terminate a stay or ask diners to leave immediately, without a refund, if behaviour is abusive or disruptive to other guests.

9. Limitation of Liability

Personal Belongings: The hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guest property or vehicles parked on site.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for failing to perform services due to extreme weather, rural utility outages, or acts of God.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
